Arka Bairagi is a PhD research scholar in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. He is a part of the PRISM, NIT Rourkela under the guidance of Dr. Sobhan Kanti Dhara with broad research area including deep learning-based computer vision. He completed his BTech. in Electrical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Berhampore, in 2020, and the MTech. in Electrical Engineering with the specialization in Advanced Control and Measurement Systems from the Department of Applied Physics, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India, in 2023 with the First Class First position (Gold Medalist). Also, he was selected for the INSPIRE-Scholarship for Higher Education (INSPIRE-SHE) by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and he secured the top 1% position in the Higher Secondary (WBCHSE) - 10+2 Examination in the 2015 batch. His current research interests include Computer vision, Image restoration, Scene surveillance, Machine learning, IoT, etc.
